- 【Chemical Nature】
Mixture of organic and inorganic, nitrogen-free acids
【Properties】
The non-swelling acids in Shenical JNU can react with lime and form soluble salts which ensure a complete deliming.
Shenical JNU is able to neutralize the lime that is chemically bonded to the skin protein as well as the free lime lodged in the capillaries. This makes it possible to remove any lime blast that may have formed on the surface of the pelts, which ensures that dyes are taken up evenly when the leathers are dyed.
Shenical JNU causes a very quick reduction in swelling when pelts are delimed, which prevents the grain being damaged by scuffing when the pelts are drummed. The water released during this process takes the scud and other keratinous substances with it, which ensures that the pelts are clean, smooth and finely grained, and high-quality leather can be obtained.
Shenical JNU does not contain any nitrogen, so it does not add to the nitrogen content of tannery effluent.
A further advantage is that the blood vessels are not so prominent in the finished leather, and more substance is retained in the belly and other loose areas of the skin.
