【Chemical Nature】
Mixture of dicarboxylic acids with a complexing effect
【Properties】
Shenical JDC forms complexes with chromium salts during the tanning process, with the result that the leather has a very full handle and tight grain.
Shenical JDC improves the uptake and fixation of chrome tanning agents, especially unmasked basic chromium salts thus substantially reduce the chrome dosage for tanning and the chromium content in the tanning effluent.
Shenical JDC improves the perspiration resistance of the leather and makes it less prone to degradation by acids.

【Application】
Shenical JDC is usually applied at a rate of 1 ~ 2% based on pelt weight as a basifying agent in chrome tanning, depending on the intended degree of masking. The demand final pH of the chrome tanning is normally adjusted with 0.5–1.0 % sodium bicarbonate.
Shenical JDC is also very helpful in the manufacture of specialties such as orthopedic leather, industrial leathers, suede and nubuck.
【Transportation and Storage】
Shenical JDC is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. It has a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 8℃ and 40℃. Drums should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
