【Chemical Nature】
Condensation product of phenolic sulphonic acid and aromatic oxysulphones.
【Properties】
Shenotan JR has good tanning effect, can be used for some special leather production, such as pretanning, tanning and retanning of white leather and is an ideal syntan for tanning and retanning of metal-free leathers. It also increases the shrinking temperature considerably and therefore imparts such properties as fullness, softness, roundness and tight grain for leathers. After milled, leathers tanned or retanned with Shenotan JR have very even milling break. It gives excellent lightfastness, non-yellowing, even milling break characters as well as good dyeability, used widely for retanning upholstery, garment, nappa leathers and is recommended for the manufacture of white and shrunken grain leather etc.

【Application】
Used in combination with other syntans, on shaved weight base:
1. Soft leathers such as furniture and garment, 2-3%
2. Shoe upper and bag leathers, 4-6%
【Transportation and Storage】
Shenotan JR is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. It has a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 8℃ and 40℃. Drums should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
