Condensation product of phenol.
【Properties】
Shenotan JON is a replacement syntan with tanning effect. It has high heat resistance, and its light fastness is sufficient for many types of leather. Leathers tanned with Shenotan JON alone are almost white in color and have a soft, full handle.
Shenotan JON is particularly recommended for use in retanning for chrome leather in order to enhance its softness and fullness. Shenotan JON can be used in vegetable tanning to enhance the softness of the leather and to lighten its intrinsic color.

【Application】
Shenotan JON can be added directly into the drum without dilution.
It is usually applied after neutralization.
The dosage is between 3% and 6% based on shaved weight.
【Transportation and Storage】
Shenotan JON is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. It has a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 0℃ and 40℃. Bags should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
