【Chemical Nature 】
Mixture of organic acids and syntans.
【Properties 】
Shenotan JFE dissolves in water easily and compacts very well with traditional anionic syntans. It can be used in the retanning and neutralizing of chrome leathers. It has hgih buffering capacity thus can prevent rapid the increase of pH in neutralization which ensures the good dye ability of leather and the fineness and tightness of grain.
When used in retanning, Shenotan JFE stabilizes the pH and disperses other anionic syntans, helps the syntans penetrate into the leather and distribute evenly through the cross section of the leather.
Shenotan JFE also helps the penetration and leveling of dyestuff. It is lightfast and heat resistant.

【Application 】
To get good buffering effect, Shenotan JFE can be used with strong neutralizing agents in neutralization. When Shenotan JRS is used alone, the neutralization effect is even milder.
Good result can be achieved by using Shenotan JFE with vegetable tanning agents. The dosage is 1-5% based on shaved weight depending on the article to be produce.
【Transportation and Storage 】
Shenotan JFE is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. It has a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 0 °C and 40 °C. Bags should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
