【Chemical Nature】
Quaternary ammonium salts, synthetic neatsfoot oil.
【Properties】
Shenopal SS is emulsified with cationic, nonionic surfactants, synthetic neatsfoot oil which is miscible in all proportions with cold or hot water and forms a fine, stable emulsion. The penetration is very well.
It can be used as pretanning agent. It accelerates penetration and combination of the chrome salts, which makes the chrome salts diffusing evenly, thus enhances the tanning effect. It also can prevent or reduce the grain abrasion and foldins. It works similany in chrome retanning stage and gets the same effect. It changes the surface charge when it is used after dyeing and fatliquoring. It helps the absorption of anionic dyestuff and fatliquor, reduces the residue in the bath accordingly and protects the environment. Leather treated with cationic fatliquor obtains a pleasant handle with a clear grain. It also can improve the glossy of the napp for the suede leather.

【Application】
Chorme tanning: 1~2% (based on liming weight)
Chorme retanning: 2~2% (based on shaved weight)
After dyeing and fatliquor: 0.5~1% (based on shaved weight)
【Transportation and Storage】
Shenopal SS is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. The powder and liquid products have a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 8℃ and 40℃. Drums should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
